I believe you 100%. I was a cosmetology student a few years back. For hair to be lightened then have a toner put on top is over $100 in a regular salon (some above $150!). At the school I went to, it’s just a little bit over $50!! :p
omg you speak the truth! i never get my hair cut unless I know the person at my school and know they do a good job.(vocational school) another thing i wouldn’t get done is nails, they are like 15 dollars, but they fall off so easily the girls there dont care unless they are giving themselves nails, you know… but yes it is very cheap!!
In my high school we have a cosmotology program. I’ve cut some of my friends hair. We are taught several times on mannequins and aren’t allowed to preform on real people unless we are good enough, the ladies that teach us come by when we are done aswell and go through to hair to make sure everything is perfect. As long as you are getting a fairly basic cut I think its a great place to get a cut, and a great learning tool for us hair dressers to be.
I completely agree about wanting a haircut from a stylist with a little more experience, IF you want to keep longer hair.
However, if you don’t mind going shorter (just in case), then go for it, but that’s not for me neither. My hair grows to slow to have to wait another 3 years to grow back long.
But, now-a-days we can use extensions … thank goodness! LOL
they are very great! thats were i go and its a win win situation you help them get practice and help them learn and u get what needs to be done (high quality) for a cheap price! i luv it!
What type of hair cut do you ask for?
